Admissions

Admission Requirements

The Swedish Program is looking for students who are committed to both the classroom and cultural integration, who understand that international education is about becoming a global citizen. In addition to demonstrating academic excellence, we are most interested in students who possess a cultural curiosity and respect for different ways of thinking and living. We have a rolling admissions policy and therefore encourage students to apply early.

Don’t have everything you need? Don’t worry! You will be able to start your application now and finish it later.

How to Apply for

Internships

The Program has four excellent opportunities for internships which we offer on a regular basis. Since all internships are limited, students are encouraged to apply early and submit internship requests with the application for admission. Such requests should include a brief statement explaining your interest in an internship, along with a resume.

Internships are opportunities to further explore and understand Swedish society and culture through direct participation in organizational life and important cultural events. They are not for course credit.

How to Check the Status of an Application

Please contact us at info@swedishprogram.org to check on the status of your application. We have a rolling admissions policy and typically inform applicants of our decisions within one week of completing their applications.

“I can’t imagine experiencing one of the most magnificent cities on the planet with a more fun-loving, caring and down-to-earth group of people. My semester was unforgettable!”
