The Swedish Program and the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) are proud to offer a full two-year scholarship (tuition only) to one Program alum for the Masters of Science programs at SSE. This scholarship is awarded every two years, beginning in the fall of 2015.

The two masters of science programs open to our alumni are:
— specializations in International Economics and Applied Economics Analysis
This degree program is open to Economics majors with at least 10 prior courses in Economics.
Business & Management
This degree program is open to Economics majors, and all other alumni who have at least 6 courses in Sociology or Psychology, where the course content is relevant to the fields of Economics or Business. Alumni majoring in subjects other than Economics, Psychology, or Sociology are also welcome to apply. A limited number of places in the program are set aside for exceptional candidates with a bachelor degree in any field of studies and containing fewer courses related to Economics or Business. Such candidates should show extraordinary talent and outstanding achievements in areas like academia, work experience, sports and community service. SSE does an overall assessment of the application, taking into consideration the interest of the applicant, academic merits, GRE/GMAT scores, and extracurricular activities.
Admitted applicants with a bachelor degree in subjects other than Business Administration and Economics are required to complete a specific preparatory program prior to their studies.
All alumni who apply must have taken the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
SSE does not guarantee housing for all the students, however, they have a limited number of apartments for international students. The costs of these apartments vary depending upon their standard and location, ranging from 3 750 – 7 500 SEK/month for shared apartments to 5 500 – 9 200 SEK/month for one-bedroom apartments.
SSE, in consultation with The Swedish Program, will decide who is awarded the scholarship.
