Student Life

The Stockholm School of Economics campus provides many opportunities to meet Swedes and other international students through an array of social activities.  But most students turn to the bustling and vibrant city of Stockholm for their social life, as the campus is located in the middle of the city.

Stockholm has more restaurants, museums, and parks -per capita- than any city in the world!  There is simply a lot to do!  From films and theater in English, sporting events (world class hockey and soccer) to a great music scene, fun pubs and dance clubs, student life is never boring.  Great skiing is only about four hours away by train.  There is always something special going on in Stockholm as well.  There are the Stockholm Water Festival, the Stockholm Marathon, Film and Art Festivals and new ones almost every year.

Please refer to the Live from Stockholm Blog for monthly reports from current students and from our Director on what is currently happening in Stockholm.

Blog

We know that our students want to meet Swedes. The best way to meet Swedes is to join something – involving sports, music, and politics or in almost any activity in which you have an interest. Roscoe, our student advisor, is committed to helping our students meet Swedes so that having Swedish friends becomes an important part of their everyday social life.
