Hello From Stockholm! One of the things I like best about being here is the program’s affiliation with SSE. For example, early this semester, I was lucky enough to be accepted by the Student Association at SSE to participate in a special trip, London Investment Banking Week. I and 29 other students at SSE traveled to London and spent a few hours each day visiting different investment banks and asset managing firms across the city. Some of the companies we visited are Citi, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Blackstone, and Oliver Wyman. The visits consisted of informational sessions, case studies, company valuation games, and networking. These visits gave me an opportunity to compare and contrast the culture and style of the firms in London with the ones I have visited in the US. At the end of the trip we had a lot of time to explore London and learn more about the city. Would highly recommend this trip!!!
