Two particular weekend excursions organized by the Swedish Program administration were the highlights of my semester in Stockholm.

I still felt immediately comfortable in Stockholm – a feeling I remember well from my first week in the Swedish Program.

While facing struggles about this uncertainty during this time, I have been looking back at my time in Sweden for a sense of strength and resiliency.

There’s something about Sweden for people – and particularly those of us that have stayed for many months – that sticks with us.

After jumping into the icy Baltic, I followed the family into the sauna. It was there, warming up over a shared plate of Swedish beer, meats and cheeses, that I would cement a special travel memory that would change the trajectory of my life forever.

Stockholm exposes me to a new variety of films outside of standard American movies.

The Swedish Program and Stockholm provide an unbelievable opportunity to explore the world.

My study abroad experience may have ended, but the things I learned are and will be lifelong.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in the Student Association’s London Investment Banking Week trip. The project offers 25 students a chance to visit different investment banks in London and gain insight into the industry of Investment Banking.
