Admission Requirements

The Swedish Program is looking for students who want both an engaging academic and culturally immersive experience. You don’t have to choose between the two with our program. We consider kindness, cultural curiosity, respect for different ways of thinking, and a sense of humor to be equally as important as academic excellence. In other words, we are looking for students who know how to work hard and have fun. While we provide many unique opportunities for group and independent travel, we are not a program for students who are looking to be tourists.

We have a rolling admissions policy and therefore encourage students to apply early. Don’t have everything you need? Don’t worry! You can start your application now and finish it later.

Application Deadlines

Academic Year and Fall Semester:
Complete application due March 1

Spring Semester:
Complete application due October 1

A complete application includes the online application, one letter of recommendation, your official transcript, and the signed School Approval Form.

How to Apply for

Internships

The Program has several excellent opportunities for internships which we offer on a regular basis. Internship requests are submitted during registration. Please prepare a resume and short statement of interest.

Please contact us at info@swedishprogram.org to check on the status of your application. We have a rolling admissions policy and typically inform applicants of our decisions within one week of completing their applications.
