Joint SSE-Swedish Program Scholarship for Alumni

The Swedish Program and the Stockholm School of Economics are proud to offer a two-year full tuition scholarship for Swedish Program alumni pursuing an MSc degree at SSE.

About the Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to one Swedish Program alumnus every two years. The next scholarship will be awarded for a program beginning in Fall 2024. Interested students should apply directly to an eligible Master of Science program at SSE. After admissions decisions are made, the scholarship recipient will be selected by SSE in consultation with The Swedish Program.

The scholarship covers tuition only. Students are responsible for all other expenses, including housing. Please note that SSE does not guarantee housing for all students, but a limited number of SSE apartments are available for international students ranging from 3,750–9,200 SEK per month based on size, location, and standard.

MSc in Business & Management

This program prepares students to address the challenges of creating and developing organizations. The program is open to students with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, but students who did not major in Business Administration or Economics will be required to complete a one-week preparatory program. For detailed program information and admissions requirements, please visit the program website.

MSc in Economics

This program prepares you to address modern economic problems in the public or private sector. Students can pursue specialization in International Economics or Applied Economics Analysis. The program is open to students with a bachelor’s degree in a social science discipline with prerequisite coursework in Economics. For detailed program information and admissions requirements, please visit the program website.

MSc in Finance

This program is taught by experienced faculty with outstanding expertise across financial topics. Topics covered include modern capital markets, valuation (including options), fixed income, and capital structure. Electives include value investing, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and international finance.The program offers two specializations: Corporate Finance and Investment Management.
