  • Students must conduct themselves with honesty and good faith.
  • Students must act in a manner that demonstrates respect for the rights and concerns of others.
  • Students must respect freedom of expression provided that the rights and welfare of others are not compromised.
  • Students must demonstrate respect for the environment around them, including Program facilities and all other public or private property. Damage to any property must be reported and remedied promptly.
  • Students must act with reasonable judgment and take responsibility for their own behavior.
  • Students must comply with Program policies and cooperate with the directions of Program staff acting in the performance of their duties.
  • Students must comply with local laws.

Scope #

This code of conduct applies for the duration of the student’s participation in The Swedish Program, defined as the day a student accepts admission into the Program until the day the student’s Statement of Grades is released.

The code applies to all contexts, including but not limited to the classroom, Program housing, group or independent activities, and group travel.

The code applies to all interactions with others, including but not limited to peers, staff, faculty, and Program partners.

Failure to Comply #

Students who fail to comply with this code of conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, including expulsion, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
