Academic Honor Code #

The Swedish Program assumes that students will maintain an honor code concerning all academic work.

If an incident of cheating or plagiarism becomes known to our faculty or administration, the consequence will be an automatic F for the paper or exam in question. Any such violation may also result in an immediate expulsion from the course with an F submitted for the final grade. The Executive Director also reserves the right to suspend or expel the student(s) in question.

Cheating entails any form of plagiarism, i.e., copying any text from a published work or from a digital platform, as well as copying the work of other students or using external tools such as AI to produce a text. Students are responsible for understanding the proper way all references are to be cited for a paper. If students are unsure about how to cite their references, they must consult with their instructors before submitting their work.
