The Student Association at SSE (SASSE) #
About SASSE #
The Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics, better known as SASSE (“SAH-seh”), is SSE’s student union. Swedish Program students have full membership in the association including sports access.
SASSE can play a big role in your social integration at SSE. SASSE offers anywhere from five to 15 events each week across an array of interests, including athletic teams, art and culture groups, lectures, career fairs, student banquets, and more (see Committees and Groups). This provides you with the opportunity to connect with the campus community and make friends with local students – an important part of your study abroad experience. Approximately 96% of SSE students are SASSE members.
SASSE is led by a board consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and eight committee presidents. The president of the International Committee acts as a liaison for Swedish Program students, but you can contact anyone on the board if you want to get further involved or start your own initiative.

Website #
Visit the SASSE website at www.sasse.se. You will receive login instructions directly from SASSE at your swedishprogram.org gmail account. If you have any questions or need help accessing the website, please contact [email protected].
Instagram #
SASSE recommends following their associated Instagram accounts as the best way to stay up-to-date with activities. The main account is @sasseofficial. For more accounts, see below.
Event Tickets: Orbi App #
Student banquets and other parties usually require tickets, and SASSE tickets sell out quickly – sometimes within minutes! SASSE uses the Orbi app for ticket management. Download the app for Apple or Android and register an account to keep track of ticket drops. Ticket release dates and times are also typically published on Instagram. Set a reminder so you don’t miss the drop!
Committees and Projects #
Below find a summary of SASSE’s eight committees and their associated Instagram accounts and/or websites.
Please note that SASSE is an independent organization and the Swedish Program does not create, review, or endorse the content published on SASSE’s channels. We do our best to keep this list up-to-date, but please be aware that SASSE groups and their related accounts can change as new students take responsibility for running them. Activity groups become more and less active in any given year based on how many students are interested in participating.
If you have any questions about the groups or how to get involved, please contact SASSE directly.
