Internet Usage #
Upon arrival, students will be assigned a swedishprogram.org email address and gain access to our Google Classroom platform. Administrative staff and faculty members send official correspondence to students via these channels. Students are expected to check their email and Google Classroom accounts regularly and are responsible for reading the Program information provided there.
All users are responsible for preventing unauthorized access to Program information and resources. Do not share your password and be sure to change your password if you suspect someone else has accessed your accounts. Only log into your accounts from secure environments and log out before leaving your computer or phone unattended. Take precautions when accessing restricted information, including but not limited to information about our schedule, activities, and premises.
We expect you to abide by The Swedish Program’s Terms and Conditions in your online conduct. This includes using maturity and reasonable judgment, taking full responsibility for your actions, and knowing and complying with any applicable laws. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
The Swedish Program is committed to respecting student privacy and does not monitor students’ social media accounts or other private online activity. However, please be aware that if we are alerted to online conduct that may violate the Terms and Conditions agreement, the Program may investigate and take appropriate action.
